This whole thing grows one printer at a time. Print a figure and put it somewhere thoughtful.
1. Download
One zip, everything in it: both poses (the Watch Check and the Phone), three STLs each, plus the full OpenSCAD source if you want to remix it or draw your own pose.
Download the print kit (zip)Each pose is three parts. One set works for every metro line, since the glow color is just whatever filament you load.
2. Print
- PETG or ASA. These live outside in the sun.
- 0.2mm layers, any 0.4 nozzle. Import all three STLs as one object with multiple parts and give each part its own filament.
- Plate in warm white, ink in black, glow in the color of the metro line at your spot (or the one that should be there).
3. Magnets
- Four 10x3mm neodymium disc magnets. A drop of super glue in each pocket, press them in flush.
- Stick it to a steel door and make sure it holds before you go anywhere.
4. Ground rules
- Magnets only. Never glue anything to anything. Steel surfaces only.
- Never on or over signs, cameras, safety equipment, or anything someone needs to read. Never in the way.
- Putting stuff on property you don't own isn't officially allowed, and pieces will get taken down. That's part of the deal. Know the risk, keep it removable, keep it kind.
