Print one

The campaign scales one printer at a time. Everything is open — print a figure, place it kindly, log it.

1 · Download

Everything you need, right here. Three parts — one set serves every metro line (the glow color is your filament choice):

  • la-espera-plate.stl — the tile, with magnet pockets
  • la-espera-ink.stl — figure, name, QR
  • la-espera-glow.stl — the phone screen
  • la-espera-source.zip — full OpenSCAD source, to remix or make new poses

2 · Print

  • PETG or ASA — the pieces live outdoors in the sun.
  • 0.2 mm layers, any 0.4 nozzle. Import all three STLs as one object with multiple parts.
  • Plate: warm white. Ink: black. Glow: the color of the metro line that serves — or should serve — your spot.

3 · Assemble

  • Four 10×3 mm neodymium disc magnets, one drop of CA glue each, seat flush in the back pockets.
  • Check it holds its own weight on a steel door before you go anywhere.

4 · The install ethic

  • Magnets only. Never adhesive. Steel surfaces only.
  • Never on or over signage, safety equipment, cameras, or anything operational. Never blocking anything.
  • Installing on property you don't own isn't authorized, and pieces will be removed — that's part of the story, but the risk is yours. Know it, keep it removable, keep it kind.

An unaffiliated art project. Not LA Metro. Nothing here damages anything.
